Do I need an IPA TouchPoints subscription to use ChatPoints?
Yes. ChatPoints is built on top of the IPA TouchPoints TP16 panel data. You need a valid TouchPoints subscription to access the underlying data.
What data does it cover?
The full TP16 diary panel: activities, locations, company, emotions and media touchpoints across half-hour timeslots by day of week. 15.6 million rows of UK panel data.
How accurate are the answers?
Every answer is sourced directly from a query against the panel data. ChatPoints will not answer from memory or training data. If the answer is not in the panel, it says so.
Can I export charts and tables?
Yes. All charts and tables can be exported and used directly in presentations or reports.
How is this different from building cross-tables manually?
Cross-tables require you to know which variables to pull and how to configure them before you get an answer. ChatPoints works the other way. You start with the question and it does the data work for you.
